Gallery Talk: 911, Father Hennepin Park, and Immersion, oh my

August 10, 2010

Yesterday I installed my first public piece of the Immersion project at my exhibition Impact at the Bloomington Art Center, 1800 W Old Shakopee Rd Bloomington, MN 55431. This is just in time for my Artist’s talk, entitled 911, Father Hennepin Park, and Immersion, oh my, this Thursday night, August 12th, at 7:00 in the Gallery. Hope to see you there.

On Friday my friends and art colleagues, Ephraim Eusebio and Christine Arle Baeumler, dared to Immerse into the Big River with me. Immersion III was more stunning and rewarding than ever. The strength of the imagery and a push by the first Immerser, Joy Wagner, freed me to print this weekend and install a group of sis images in the shape of a cross. Click on the image above, the link here, or just come out to the talk to see the Premier of Immersion. Please if you dare come Immerse with us and be part of this sacred and healing art experience. Call me at 612 819 1627 before the water turns cold this Fall after you read the Immersion waiver form linked here.
